15% of every room,
forever.

Booking.com’s own partner documentation puts its global average commission at 15%, and the Preferred Partner Programme raises it by roughly 3 points in exchange for visibility. On a room you filled yourself, with a guest who already knew your name, that is the same 15%.

Book an introduction call See InTake
The honest answer

InTake is not an OTA and does not try to be. It is your own booking engine with an AI receptionist attached: it answers the phone, WhatsApp, email and web chat 24/7 in 30+ languages, quotes availability, takes the booking and the deposit, and puts the guest in your database. Keep the OTA for reach. Stop paying it for the guests who would have come anyway.

The maths on one room

A €140 room, 15 bookings a month through the platform, at an average 15%: about €315 a month handed over. Move a third of those to direct and InTake has paid for itself in the first month, twice over.

And every direct booking arrives with something the OTA never gives you: the guest’s email address.

Where the OTA still wins

Reach. A traveller in another country searching for a room they have never heard of will find you on Booking.com and not on your own site. That is a genuine service and it is worth paying for — for the first booking.

What is not worth paying for is the returning guest, the phone caller who found you on Google Maps, and the walk-in who checks your site first. InTake takes those.

Questions

Before you ask.

Is this a channel manager?

No. InTake is your direct booking engine and AI receptionist. It sits alongside whatever channel manager or PMS you already run, and can be integrated with it on the larger configurations.

What commission does InTake take?

None. It is a flat subscription from €99/month with no booking fees and no per-seat pricing. Phone answering is included in the subscription; the AI’s usage (chat and voice) is billed at cost — with a local-model option that has no per-use fee. Or own the build outright from €1,500 plus €29/month hosting.

Can it take a deposit?

Yes, straight to your own Stripe account.

How long to go live?

Your chat widget can be live in about ten minutes. The full tailored setup — rooms, rates, policies, calendar — we do with you.

Booking.com rates quoted above are the published figures from Booking.com’s own documentation, checked 18 August 2026, and vary by market, property type and plan. Check current rates with Booking.com before making a decision. InTake pricing is ours and is flat.
